Scented Nail Vanish.

Would You Wear Scented Nail Polish?!

WITH so many nail polishes, gels, wraps and accessories on offer, i do enjoy a twist on the familiar when i see it - or smell it, in the case of Revlon's Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel collection. Arriving here this spring from the US, the polishes are painted on as normal and reveal a light fragrance to match their hue once dried.
The 20 polishes are split into three fragrance camps. Fruits and Florals includes the bold China Flower, Orange Blossom and Pink Pineapple; Sweets and Spices centres around nudes, neutrals and molten metallics fragranced with the likes of Espresso, Autumn Spice and Italian Leather; and the soft Freshes collection includes the subtle Fresh Linen, Lavender Soap and Wintermint shades. Revlon's global artistic director, Gucci Westman, even designed the bottles to look like miniature perfume flacons.
A gimmick, or the future of nail polish? They're not going to revolutionise the way we wear fragrance, but they're certainly fun - and there's no denying that the scents are preferable to the strong smell of chemicals we'd normally expect.

Available from March at Boots stores, priced at £6.49 each.
